Bukayo Saka and Martinelli to start, Predicted Arsenal line-up(4-2-3-1) against Southampton

Arsenal need to get back to winning ways and they have a chance to do so on Friday as they get ready to welcome Southampton, so let’s take a look at the predicted lineup.
The Gunners had a disappointing day in the west of London as they could only get a draw against West Ham United. That leaves them only four points ahead of Manchester City who have played one game less and that is not a good position to be in.
In goal, Aaron Ramsdale would want his defenders to be a bit more careful as it has been preventing him from getting a couple of clean sheets. There could be a change in the full backs with Alex Zinchenko coming back in for Kieran Tierney. Ben White will be stationed on the right.
Due to the unavailability of William Saliba, Rob Holding will continue to start in the centre of defence along with Gabriel. The Englishman needs to be careful about being caught high up the pitch as the Saints do have some pacey players.
Thomas Partey and Granit Xhaka will take up their usual spots in the centre of midfield and look to be more assertive this time around. If they can do that, it will help the north Londoners keep the tempo high and that can lead to more chances.
Bukayo Saka had a rare blip on Sunday missing a penalty, and he would surely be looking to make things right. The attacking trio will be rounded off by Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli. The latter in particular will be useful in stretching the visiting defence.
Gabriel Jesus should get another start as he is almost back to being fully fit. Having the Brazilian does increase the chances of the Gunners scoring. The striker will look to take advantage of a defence that hasn’t always been good.
Arsenal need nothing less than a win if they are to keep their title challenge going. Dropping points will make it easier for Manchester City to catch up and that needs to be avoided. A home win over the Saints will make fans a little calmer.
Arsenal Predicted Lineup against Southampton(4-2-3-1):
Aaron Ramsdale, Ben White, Rob Holding, Gabriel, Alex Zinchenko, Thomas Partey, Granit Xhaka, Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus
