Arsenal’s transfer pursuit of Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk has taken a huge step forward as it emerged that the Gunners are set to win the race to acquire his services. Mudryk labelled the ‘Ukrainian Neymar’, has long been linked with a move across Europe after his performances this season.

According to the Mirror, Arsenal are set to win the race for Mudryk and have the framework of a deal in place after the Ukrainian side lowered their demands. It’s understood that an offer of around £40 million plus add-ons will be enough to acquire Mudryk’s services.

Arsenal defender Cedric Soares could see a move away from the club blocked by Mikel Arteta despite preferring a move away from the club.
