Revealed: Arsenal planning to renew interest in signing for Napoli No.9 forward

Serie A giants, Napoli’s forward Victor Osimhen has confirmed that Premier League teams are interested in securing his services this summer.
The 23-year-old forward has enjoyed a successful season at Napoli, founding back of the net 18 times in 32 games in all competitions.
Osimhen’s form has attracted interest from Real Madrid and Man Utd while the Evening Standard claims that the Gunners have already bid £51m for the Nigeria international forward, which falls short of Napoli’s reported asking price of £85m.
With rumours circulating about a possible switch away from Italy, Osimhen addressed his future while on international duty with Nigeria.
The 23-year-old forward was quoted by Calciomercato, stating: “I know there are many people that would like me in Spain or England, but I don’t think it’s the right time to talk about it now that I’m with the national team. I always go out on the pitch to do my best both with the national team and with my club.
“I don’t know my future, I know anything can happen, but now I just want to go on holiday with my family, clear my head and recharge my batteries. Then we’ll take care of everything else.”
The attacker has found back of the net five times in the current international window, including a four-goal haul in Nigeria’s 10-0 victory over Sao Tome & Principe.
