Following the injury of Gabriel Jesus, Arsenal will be forced to move into the market for a striker and a number of names have been mentioned as possible deals ahead of the January winter transfer window.

Reports claim Arsenal could reignite interest in Jonathan David and Joao Felix as they are desperate to land the Premier League title and will not leave anything to chance.

The Gunners are handed a major boost after David recently admitted it would be a ‘dream’ to play in the Premier League.

‘What happens after I do not know, we will have to see,’ he said following Canada’s World Cup exit in Qatar.

Also, Portugal star Felix could be another option in January with Atletico Madrid ready to sell the 23-year-old.

Reports in Spain suggest it could take as much as £86million to sign the former Benfica starlet.

Atletico CEO Miguel Angel Gil Martin has confirmed the player wishes to leave the Wanda Metropolitano.

‘He is the biggest bet the club has made,’ Gil Marin told TVE. ‘I think he has the highest level in the world but for reasons that are not worth going into now, the relationship between the coach and him is not good, nor is his motivation.

‘The reasonable thing is to think that he leaves, although I would love him to continue, but, this is not the player’s idea.’
