The report suggests the La Liga club could move for Arteta following his success with the Gunners so far this season – However, speaking ahead of Arsenal’s Europa League clash with Sporting, the Spaniard quashed the speculation, stating his commitment to the Gunners.

He said: “It’s things that managers or players can’t control what is written.

“What I can tell is that I’m fully focused on what I’m doing here and extremely proud and grateful to do what I’m doing in this football club. That’s it.”

It is also easy to see why Madrid really want him – but his long-term plans are with ARSENAL – so unless they sack him- he is going nowhere and the Gunners fans can expect to see him in that dugout for a very long-time.

After a very confident start to the new season with Brighton – Caicedo has become one of the most talked about midfielders in the Premier League and a man that the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool are all interested in.

But Caicedo is keeping his feet on the ground and despite some tension during the January window, he insists he is happy at Brighton and not thinking about a move elsewhere.

Speaking about the speculation that has surrounded him to Sky Sports on Wednesday, he said: ‘People are gonna speak about me, other players as well!

‘Brighton have a lot of good players, a lot of quality, a lot of intelligent players.

Martinelli on Saka future

Gabriel Martinelli has confidently predicted Bukayo Saka will commit his future to ARSENAL and sign a new contract.

Despite being one of the most exciting talents at the club and a player that has a very bright future in the game, there is a growing feeling that Arsenal may be unable to keep hold of Saka in the coming window.

The young mans contract is running down and with talks over a new deal not going as the club would like, it has been suggested that Liverpool, Real Madrid and Barcelona could make a move at the end of the season.

‘I will be happy because he is a very, very good player, one of the best young players in the world,’ he said ahead of the Europa League clash against Sporting Lisbon.

‘He is at his house, you know. Arsenal is his home and for sure he is happy. And we will be happy as well if he stays and signs a new deal.’

Saka is a brilliantly gifted player that ARSENAL dont want to lose, so even though they may keen hold of the player in the summer window, his ambition is to play at the very top of the game and win trophies.

So the news that he will probably be agreeing a new contract with the club is massive – as he is certainly a player that the club do not want to lose and a man that has a big future in the game.

Fans cannot wait to see him agree a new contract and cannot wait for that announcement to come
