Martinelli and Havertz to start, Predicted Arsenal line-up(4-3-3) vs Nottingham Forest

Arsenal start their Premier League campaign on Saturday at home to Nottingham Forest after winning the Community Shield, so let’s take a look at the predicted lineup.
Getting the win over Manchester City was a huge statement of intent ahead of the new season. Given how poorly the Gunners have done against the defending champions in the recent past, this will be a huge confidence booster.
Despite the imminent arrival of David Raya, Aaron Ramsdale will start in goal boosted by his performance last Sunday. Ben White will be at right back but there is some doubt as to who will play on the left. It will come down to Jurrien Timber or Alex Zinchenko.
As for the centre backs, we can see the usual duo of William Saliba and Gabriel. It will relatively be an easier game this weekend but they need to be cautious to not give away any chances.
Declan Rice and Thomas Partey will be in midfield as the two form an imposing presence that can dominate any team. Having the duo play together lets the former West Ham United go a little further up and join the attack. Martin Odegaard will play in that central role that he has made his own.
With Gabriel Jesus still out with an injury, there is a good chance that Kai Havertz gets another chance to start in the centre. Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli will be on the wings to stretch the Forest defence.
Arteta can also go with either Leandro Trossard or Eddie Nketiah who can offer more in an attacking sense. Havertz worked well against City as his pressing helped stifle Pep Guardiola from bringing his plan to fruition. Having these options shows great progress for the north Londoners who have not always had this depth.
Arsenal will in all probability come up against a former player in goalkeeper Matt Turner. The American will be determined to put on a strong showing against the hosts. But the players should put that behind them and just focus on the match. Starting with a comfortable win is what Arteta would be looking forward to.
