LATEST TRANSFER UPDATE: Arsenal given green light to sign 18-year-old La Liga defender

Arsenal keep a close eye on Real Valladolid defender Ivan Fresneda. The London giants are interested in signing in a new defender during the summer transfer window. And Ivan is one of their primary targets.
The Spanish defender was a part of the Real Madrid youth academy back in the day. But, things did not go according to plan for Fresneda in La Fabrica. The Spaniard joined Real Valladolid’s academy in 2020.
Fresneda has gone from strength to strength since then. Ivan has moved up the ranks in no time and has established himself as a crucial figure in the club. Fresneda was added to Real Valladolid’s first team ahead of the ongoing campaign.
And in only over six months Ivan has proved in mettle in La Liga. Many teams are interested in signing the Spaniard, including the Gunners. The Spanish tactician is looking to add a right-back ahead of next campaign.
Mikel Arteta wants to further bolster his team and increase the bench strength as they are certain to return to the Champions League after seven long years. The Spanish coach wants an upgrade on White and Tomiyasu.
