Kai Havertz and Declan Rice to start, Predicted Arsenal line-up(4-3-3) against Monaco

Arsenal get into the final stages of their preseason when they take on AS Monaco on Wednesday for the Emirates Cup, so let’s take a look at the predicted lineup.
The Gunners have had an interesting preparation for the new campaign so far with the loss to Manchester United being the low point. Scoring five goals against Barcelona would have shown just how good this team can be and fans will be hoping to see more of that at the Emirates.
Aaron Ramsdale will start in goal as Arteta would want his current Number 1 to get more minutes under his belt. In defence, it is interesting to see what combination the manager goes with. But given that Alex Zinchenko might not play a part, we are likely to see Ben White and Kieran Tierney chosen as the full backs.
In the centre of defence, while there are possibilities, we are going to see William Saliba and Gabriel start. This is the duo that will start the Community Shield on Sunday so, it makes sense that they get more time to play together.
As for the midfield, Arteta needs to think what trio would take the field against Manchester City for the season’s curtain raiser. That could dictate the choice he makes for Wednesday. Declan Rice is expected to be back playing and that could see the Englishman start along with Martin Odegaard and Kai Havertz.
For the front three, Leandro Trossard has been a shining light in the last few games, but he should be on the bench for this one. The north Londoners would like to see a familiar three of Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli. These three have the talent and skill needed to get the better of any defence.
The Emirates Cup has long been an important part of the preseason for Arsenal. It is a chance for fans to have a look at the squad before things get officially started. With the all-important Community Shield coming up, the hope will be that the home team can put on a show and secure the win as well as the trophy.
