JUST IN: Arsenal in advanced talks to agree deal for Bundesliga No.33 forward

Arsenal could be in for Wolfsburg winger Omar Marmoush. Egypt international’s current deal will be up for expiry in the summer, and he will be eligible to join any team in a Bosman move next summer.
The London giants continue to search for reinforcements, with the Spanish coach already accepting the fact that his squad is very small to compete on all fronts. And he has been searching for the right kind of footballer.
Mikel Arteta has delivered big time this campaign as the Gunners have beaten off competition from the likes of Man City and Liverpool to capture the pole position in the PL.
Amidst the recent negotiations, the Gunners have stayed focused on their path and have already started chalking their plans for the next transfer window. An attacker is deemed very necessary by Arsenal’s management, and they have identified Omar as a potential candidate.
Marmoush spent the 2021/22 campaign on loan at Bundesliga side Stuttgart but has been involved in all matches for the German club this campaign. Negotiations over a new deal have failed to materialise and the German side can capitalise on him to earn a few bucks in January.
A move in the summer looked on the course but that transfer never happened and Mikel Arteta is pretty keen to have him under his disposal as soon as possible. He had a valuation of £17m in the summer but the Germans won’t be claiming that much as he has only six months left in his deal.
