‘I want Arsenal’: Declan Rice drop transfer hint as Supercomputer predicts EPL winner

Tunnel camera footage has revealed that Declan Rice waited for Martin Odegaard in the tunnel after Sunday’s clash so that he could get a signed Arsenal shirt. The two captains locked horns at the London Stadium as West Ham clinched a crucial point in their survival bid, while also denting the Gunners’ hopes of winning the Premier League.

Despite the arrival of Jorginho on January deadline day, football.london understand that Arsenal still hold a strong interest in the 24-year-old. But, it’s also understood that Rice remains a key target for Chelsea too.

The England international is under contract at the London Stadium until 2024, with David Moyes’ side holding the option to extend his stay by a further year. Rice is yet to commit his long-term future to West Ham and he’s previously voiced his ambition to play in the Champions League – luckily for Arsenal, and unfortunately for Chelsea.

A LegalSportsbooks supercomputer has issued a fresh prediction on the Premier League title race after West Ham dented Arsenal’s hopes of lifting the prestigious trophy. The Gunners are now only four points clear of Manchester City at the top of the table – and the reigning champions have a game in hand.

The supercomputer has predicted that the north Londoners will finish first on 90 points, with City in at second on 89 points. Manchester United have been backed to secure third with 75 points, while Newcastle have been tipped to clinch the fourth and final Champions League qualification place.

Arteta worry

Mikel Arteta has revealed his concern regarding Arsenal’s recent inabilities to hold onto a two-goal lead following another collapse against West Ham. Speaking in his post-match press conference, the Spaniard said: “Started extremely well again. Dominated the game, dominated the pitch and scored two beautiful goals.

“After that we made a huge mistake to stop playing with the same purpose to score the third and fourth one and just thinking we could play around them and maintain the result and just looked too easy. At that moment we gave them hope.

“There is another moment where you could go 3-1 up after 50 minutes and probably the game is over. Two minutes after that you concede the equaliser. This is part of football. My worry is after 2-0 that we made that huge mistake and didn’t understand what the game required in the moment.”
