GREEN LIGHT: 75M Rated Arsenal Midfield Target Increases Speculation After Liking Bukayo Saka’s Instagram Post

An Arsenal transfer target, Declan Rice, has recently liked a post of Bukayo Saka’s on Instagram. As such, speculation around the like has been rife.
The post was in celebration of the Gunners’ massive 3-2 win over Manchester United on Sunday. In that game, Saka scored one of Arsenal’s three goals, putting in a performance worthy of his fantastic season so far.
He took to Instagram to say: “What a WIN! We never stopped believing. Thank you for the support Gunners, the energy was unreal. We keep going!”
The post was liked by several of Saka’s Arsenal teammates, including Gabriel Jesus, Leandro Trossard and Martin Odegaard. There was one name that stood out amongst the likes – Declan Rice.
Some see it as a sure-fire sign that Rice is on his way to North London. Meanwhile, more level-headed audiences believe it could be innocuous – the two are friends, after all.
It’s also worth remembering that Rice and Saka play for the same team already – just not at club level. Due to this, it could be that Rice is simply showing friendship towards one of his England compatriots.
Interestingly, Rice was not the only Arsenal transfer target who liked Saka’s post. It also received a like from Jude Bellingham – however, Bellingham’s links to an Arsenal move are much more tenuous than Rice’s.
Respected journalist Fabrizio Romano and a number of other sources have confirmed that the Gunners are now actively pursuing Rice, along with the likes of Chelsea. West Ham are not expected to let him leave without a fight, though, with it being suggested that they will demand at least £75m for the player.
