GOOD NEWS: Partey’s Replacement Ready to Sign for Arsenal In The Next Few Days

Moises Caicedo is attempting to push through his exit from Brighton with his agent set to arrive in England this weekend, LondonWorld understands.
Caicedo’s agent will travel to London this weekend as the Ecuador midfielder looks to secure a transfer away from the club in January, with Arsenal the latest team to have a £60million bid rejected on Friday.
Brighton’s stance remains unchanged however, and there is a feeling on the South Coast that he has been given ‘poor advice’ by his new agents.
Caicedo’s released the following statement on Instagram on Friday night, shortly after Arsenal’s defeat against Manchester City in the FA Cup.
“I am grateful to Mr Bloom and Brighton for giving me the chance to come to the Premier League and I feel I have always done my best for them. I always play football with a smile and with heart.
“I am the youngest of 10 siblings from a poor upbringing in Santa Domingo in Ecuador. My dream is always to be the most decorated player in the history of Ecuador.
“I am proud to be able to bring in a record transfer fee for Brighton which would allow them to reinvest it and help the club continue to be successful.
“The fans have taken me into their hearts and they will always be in my heart so I hope they can understand why I want to take up this magnificent opportunity.”
It’s understood that Ecuador international Caicedo would be keen on a move to Emirates Stadium just a week after his former teammate Leandro Trossard arrived in north London.
Chelsea are also keen having had a £55million bid rejected.
“He’s a very important player, a strong player, a big player,” said Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi.
“He can become one of the best midfielders in Europe. For me he is now, but in the next two years for sure, because he’s technical but he’s, strong, physical. He’s complete.
“The best solution is he can finish the season with us and in the summer it is better to change teams. If Caicedo continues to play like the last games it is possible he can leave.”
