GOOD NEWS: Arsenal planning shock move for 21-year-old Superligaen winger

Arsenal, Newcastle United and West Ham are among the teams trying to position themselves to add Midtjylland winger Gustav Isaksen. Milan are watching Isaksen closely after he impressed in a recent match with Lazio. Gustav scored during that clash between Midtjylland and the Rome club.
However, while Milan like the look of the 21-year-old winger, they face competition from several teams in England, including Arsenal and Newcastle United. The report names the big-spending PL duo alongside West Ham United as being keen. A price tag of nearly £17m has been suggested. To Midtjylland, that is a huge sum.
However, the English clubs will have little trouble coming up with that sort of money. A winter move could be on the cards for Gustav. Isaksen has impressed in the Europa League this campaign, scoring three goals in five matches to add to his four in 14 in the league.
Gustav has already won a league title in Denmark. Isaksen is well on the radar of the Denmark national team too, having starred for their under-21s. Gustav will look at the likes of Eriksen and Damsgaard for inspiration when it comes to securing a move to the PL.
Like so many to emerge from the Scandinavian nations in recent years, Isaksen looks to be yet another footballer of high quality. Capable of playing on both wings or even in the number ten position, there is a lot to like. For the PL sides interested here, £17m isn’t that big an outlay either.
