GOOD ENOUGH? Emmanuel Petit urges Arsenal to sign No.10 South American attacker

Arsenal legend Emmanuel Petit has urged his ex-team to raid Brighton to add attacker Alexis Mac Allister. With the London giants lacking depth in attacking areas, we could see the Spanish manager making a move in the winter transfer window.
The cover for Saka is minimal, although Marquinhos did have an impressive start to his career, scoring in their UEL tie this week. Now, Emmanuel Petit has tipped his ex-team to add Argentina international during the winter transfer window.
“If I were Edu, I’d make an offer for Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton, I really like him,” said Emmanuel Petit. Mac Allister has been playing in a slightly deeper role for the Seagulls this campaign, so his versatility could make him extremely useful for the Gunners if he was to join the London giants.
Alexis was recently awarded Man of the Match in Brighton’s demolition of Leicester City, a match where he scored twice including a stunning free-kick. The 23-year-old attacker has scored six goals so far this campaign, and this sort of threat could make him a useful signing to Arsenal’s side.
The Gunners were looked to bring in another midfielder ahead of the winter transfer deadline but eventually settled for what they’ve got. Arthur, who eventually moved to Liverpool on deadline day, has been strongly linked to Arsenal over the last few transfer windows but there was little hint that he was ever close to moving to the London club.
