Gary Lineker and James Maddison send Arsenal star message after London Football Awards win

Arsenal star Bukayo Saka’s stellar form was rewarded on Monday night as he was named the Men’s Young Player of the Year during the London Football Awards.
The England international has scored ten goals and provided a further nine assists in the Premier League this season, helping his side to the top of the table with just 11 matches to go. After winning the award, Saka took to social media to send a heartfelt message to his fans.
“Thank you to the London Football Awards for awarding me Men’s Young Player of the Year,” he wrote on Instagram. “It’s an honour to win it for a second time and congratulations to all the other winners!”
Leicester City playmaker James Maddison then replied in the comments section by saying: “Love it u.” Former Foxes striker and current Match of the Day host Gary Lineker also heaped praise on the young Arsenal winger.
Writing about the 21-year-old on Twitter, Lineker said: “An incredible impressive young man and a wonderful footballer. Congratulations @BukayoSaka87 (clapping emoji) (clapping emoji).”
