Arsenal are interested in Athletico Paranaense centre-forward Vitor Roque. U20 Brazil international has attracted a lot of attention from all around Europe for his services and the Gunners are the latest team to have joined the battle. Some of the biggest teams have been monitoring Roque who plays for the Brazilian club.

Vitor is believed to be a huge future prospect and teams around Europe don’t want to miss out on signing the striker. The 17-year-old striker will be turning 18 in a few months’ time which means he will be able to move to Europe in the summer. While a few teams will wait until the transfer window to try and sign a deal with the Brazilian striker.

But, a few of them might not wait for that long. Teams are trying to agree on a deal for the Brazilian even before the window starts to avoid unwanted competition. The South American centre-forward has a €60m release clause in his contract. But, the club is willing to negotiate with those who initiate transfer negotiations.

Roque has played 29 games in the Campeonato Brasileiro Serie A. Vitor has been involved in six goals in the tournament. Roque has also featured for the Brazil U20 team on nine occasions and has found the back of the net six times. The Spanish manager has already laid the foundation of a young team that has immense potential and adding him to the ranks will only bolster the project at hand.
