Gabriel Jesus makes serious demand ahead of Arsenal Vs Tottenham North London derby

Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus says they will have to be at their best to get all three points against Tottenham in the first North London derby of the season this weekend.

The Gunners are massive favourites to beat their arch-rivals at the Emirates but it’s not as straightforward as the pundit would make you believe.

Spurs are one of only two teams still undefeated in the Premier League and they have shown incredible resilience to turn defeats into draws, exemplified by their 2-2 draw to Chelsea earlier on.

They also have been able to ride out tough games and stayed in matches before running away with them to gain all three points as seen in games against Southampton and recently Leicester.

There is also another sub plot that involves Gabriel Jesus and his fellow Brazilian forward Richarlison, both have made good impressions at their new clubs.

They are also vying to be the lead striker for their country at the World Cup and this derby might tell us how powerful they are when the stakes are really high.

But Jesus, who has four goals in his first seven Premier League games for Arsenal says he and his teammates will have to pull in the same direction if they are to get all three points.
