Folarin Balogun to Chelsea stance revealed as Gabriel sent clear transfer message

Balogun’s Chelsea stance
Chelsea have been given a huge boost to their hopes of signing Folarin Balogun from Arsenal.
The 22-year-old striker has been heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge recently as Mauricio Pochettino looks to further bolster his frontline before the summer transfer window slams shut at the end of the month.
Tottenham have also enquired about the USMNT star, while AS Monaco have already seen a bid rejected. Now, Balogun’s stance on a Chelsea transfer has been revealed.
Saliba sends message to Gabriel
Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes has been sent a message by fellow centre-back William Saliba amid talk surrounding his future at Emirates Stadium.
The Brazil international was once again named on the bench for the Gunners’ clash against Crystal Palace, however he came on in the second half following Takehiro Tomiyasu’s red card.
Martin Odegaard being withdrawn late into the game also saw Gabriel end the clash as captain with Saliba replying to his Instagram post celebrating the victory with the comment “capitano” *arm flexed emoji*.
Rice makes title point
Declan Rice has given Arsenal supporters a reason to be excited for the upcoming Premier League season after the Gunners’ battling victory against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. A Martin Odegaard penalty sealed the win for the visitors who were forced to defend resolutely in the final 20 minutes after Takehiro Tomiyasu’s red card.
Despite Palace’s attacking woes, after seeing Wilfred Zaha sign for Galatasaray and losing Michael Olise to injury, Arsenal defended their own box amicably. One of the players tasked with seeing out the game and keeping the clean sheet was Rice with his strong display resulting in him picking up the player of the match award.
After the game, in his interview with Sky Sports, Rice praised the performances of his team-mates after they were reduced to 10 men with an exciting title claim also being made.
