FIRST SUMMER SIGNING? Arsenal Ready to Seal Deal with La Liga Giant

Eduardo Camavinga is the subject of interest from Arsenal. The London giants are set to back the Spanish boss in the summer transfer market. And the Real Madrid midfielder has emerged as a loan target to strengthen the squad. Los Blancos seemed to have struck a coup when they signed France international in August 2021.
Camavinga is one of the most promising young midfielders in the world and had made a splash at Stade Rennais as a teenager. But the move to the La Liga giants has not worked out as envisioned for Eduardo. The French midfielder has thus emerged as an attractive target for the Gunners.
The 20-year-old midfielder was a part of his country’s squad as France reached the FIFA World Cup 2022 final. But the Frenchman has started just 11 matches thus far for Los Blancos this campaign. And Eduardo’s struggles to garner starts have captured the attention of the Gunners, who will look to sign him on loan from Real Madrid this month.
Arsenal have healthy relations with Real Madrid following deals for Ceballos and Odegaard in recent years. And Camavinga might be the latest Real Madrid footballer to join the Gunners on loan. But with Modric and Kroos in the twilight of their careers, it is unclear if Los Blancos will sanction Eduardo’s loan departure. So Arsenal might have to identify alternatives for the Real Madrid midfielder.
