Edu’s perfect reaction to Arsenal comeback as Bournemouth stunned

Arsenal produced a comeback for the ages on Saturday when they rallied from 2-0 down to beat AFC Bournemouth 3-2 at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners found themselves behind after only nine seconds thanks to a goal from Phillip Billing. Marcos Senesi scored Bournemouth’s second three minutes before the hour mark but Thomas Partey got one back for the Gunners before Ben White got Mikel Arteta’s side level with 20 minutes left to play.
Reiss Nelson came off the substitute’s bench and fired home the winner in the seventh minute of added time to send Arsenal supporters, players and staff into a frenzy and restore a five-point gap to Manchester City in second place in the Premier League table. Arsenal sporting director Edu showed his delight at the club’s superb win, taking to social media to send a message after the game.
On the social media platform Instagram, Edu shared Arsenal’s story celebrating the full-time result along with fire and red heart emojis. He also left a comment on the club’s post with similar emojis that was ‘liked’ over 1,000 times with comments of appreciation for the work Edu is doing flooding in.
Arteta, meanwhile, was full of praise for Nelson – who is out of contract in the summer – when he spoke after the game. “I always saw the potential,” Arteta said of Nelson.
“The talent and the desire for him to do it, but he’s at a different level right now. I think emotionally, the experiences that he had helped him. “Football-wise, it was my decision in the last two games not to play him because we had other options.
“But he was knocking on the door, he’s been training really good and it’s a good lesson for me and for the coaches that we need him and that he can be really important for the team. “Everybody is overwhelmed. It was madness from the first seconds with that routine and we defended so poorly.
“Then we had to climb a mountain against 10 men behind the ball. We tried in every single way, we didn’t score and suddenly we are 2-0 down from a set play.”
