Edu handed transfer boost as Rio Ferdinand delivers fresh title prediction

Diaby boost
According to the Daily Mail, Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby is no longer a target for Newcastle United.
It is claimed that the Magpies are no longer interested in signing Diaby, who has been heavily linked with a move to Arsenal in recent times. The report goes on to claim that Eddie Howe’s side are keen on Athletic Bilbao wide man Nico Williams instead, with the Gunners also following the 20-year-old.
Ferdinand’s title prediction
Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has predicted further twists in the Premier League title race between Arsenal and Manchester City.
“There’s a twist or two still left, I think,” the former England international told his YouTube channel. “But I don’t think there will be enough for Arsenal to go and win it.
“As much as I banter Arsenal, what they have done this season is nothing short of amazing. You have given this juggernaut of a team (Man City) a run for the title for the whole of the season, remarkable stuff.”
De Zerbi’s message
Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi has sent Arsenal an ominous warning ahead of their Premier League clash on Sunday afternoon.
“I spoke with them [the players] as I do after every game,” the Italian said after the Seagulls lost 5-1 to Everton on Monday evening. “It can happen to lose this type of game.
“If you attack you can concede more goals. I think on Sunday we will show our quality, we will get back to our style and you will see the true Brighton.”
