Contact made over Mykhaylo Mudryk transfer as Gunners urged to seal January deal

Arsenal make contact for Mudryk
Arsenal have made contact over a possible move for Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykahylo Mudryk, according to Fabrizio Romano in his CaughtOffside column. The Ukraine international has become highly sought after in recent months, having continued to impress for his club in the Champions League.
“For sure Arsenal remain interested and in contact to discuss the Mykhaylo Mudryk deal,” Romano claims. “They like him, but the race is open and Shakhtar want way more than the rumoured €50-55m.”
Arsenal urged to make January signings
Arsenal have reached their first major landmark in the season as domestic football takes a break mid-season for the upcoming World Cup. The Gunners have done so sitting top of the table and with a huge five point gap to Manchester City in second to show for their performances too.
However, questions continue to be asked of the squad depth at Mikel Arteta’s disposal, leading to the manager being urged to make signings in January.
Martinelli warning for Man City
Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli has sent a warning to Manchester City after their win over Wolves on Saturday and has promised more from the side after the World Cup. It comes as the Gunners built a five point lead at the top of the Premier League, confirming they will be top at Christmas for the first time since 2007.
