CONFIRMED: Arsenal in pole position to sign 21-year-old Premier Liga winger

Man City and Newcastle United target Mykhaylo Mudryk is among the footballers on Arsenal’s winter shopping list. The London giants are likely to explore a winter swoop for Ukraine international. Mudryk rose through the academy ranks at Shakhtar Donetsk before making his senior debut during the 2018/19 season.
Mykhaylo has caught the eye of many European teams with his sensational output and stellar attacking attributes in the last few months. The Ukrainian has scored 10 goals and provided another 8 in 18 games across all tournaments and earned plaudits for his fantastic displays in the UCL group stage, netting three times and grabbing two assists.
As alluded to above, the Ukrainian winger is in hot demand in the transfer market, with PL sides Newcastle United and Man City both expressing their interest in signing the Shakhtar Donetsk forward, but the Gunners appear to be leading the way to sign the attacker.
The report continues that despite the Ukrainian club’s original asking price of nearly £90m, a bid of nearly £40m with add-ons would have to be considered by the club given their dire financial situation following Russia’s invasion.
Arsenal have enjoyed a brilliant start to the campaign and are currently sitting top of the PL after winning 12 of their 14 matches. Mikel Arteta would ideally like to add depth in the winter transfer window to continue their title bid, and it appears the Spaniard will get his wish, with Arsenal pushing to fill one of the positions in need.
