BREAKING NEWS: Declan Rice drops £136m double transfer hint as Tomiyasu set for permanent switch

Rice transfer hint
Declan Rice could play a key role in two marquee transfers for Arsenal before he has even been officially confirmed as the Gunners’ latest signing.
Ahead of his official unveiling, that is expected to occur this weekend with Mikel Arteta wanting his newest signing as part of the USA pre-season tour, the 24-year-old has been training in Portugal.
While Rice looks to be completing drills by himself, several other huge names yet to return to pre-season with their respective clubs are also taking part alongside him, with two of those as Arsenal transfer targets.
Tomiyasu permanent switch
Arsenal’s recent training session may have provided a clue with regard to Mikel Arteta’s plans for Takehiro Tomiyasu next season.
The Japan international was brought in as a right-back, but was able to deputise superbly on the opposite flank in place of Oleksandr Zinchenko who suffered a number of mild injuries throughout the 2022/23 season.
With Kieran Tierney likely to depart and Jurrien Timber also set to arrive, Tomiyasu could now be set for a permanent positional switch.
£17m transfer chance
According to a new report from Sky Germany, Bayern Munich have placed seven first-team stars up for sale in an attempt to raise funds to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham.
Adding depth in attack is not a necessity for the Gunners but for a player with the proven quality in the Premier League of Mane, it surely is a no-brainer. The report from Sky Germany also adds that Bayern are looking for just £17million to part ways with the 31-year-old.
