ARSENAL ROBBED AGAIN! Video Shows How Fourth Official Celebrated Antony’s Goal

Some Arsenal fans are not happy with the fourth official’s reaction to Manchester United’s opener in their Premier League clash at Old Trafford.

It was a game full of controversial decisions. In the first-half, Gabriel Martinelli had a goal ruled out after VAR instructed referee Paul Tierney to consult the pitchside monitor.

And to the dismay of many Gunners supporters, the goal was eventually chalked off after Tierney judged Martin Odegaard to have fouled Christian Eriksen in the build-up. What do you reckon?

Then, against the run of play, Erik ten Hag’s side went ahead in the 35th minute when debutant Antony cooly slotted past Aaron Ramsdale.

Moments later and cameras panned to the Manchester United manager, who could be seen speaking to the fourth official.

Arsenal fans were far from happy with the interaction, with some pointing out that the official looked ‘really pleased’ after he pointed out Paul Tierney’s decision to play advantage before the goal.

Ten Hag also put his hand on the official’s shoulder; another action that brought conversation amongst supporters.

One fan on social media commented on the incident, saying: “They’ve been speaking all game long like a couple of mates,” while another wrote: “Ten Hag goes to the fourth official after the United goal and he’s smiling like it’s Christmas morning, at least try to hide your bias.”

A third said: “I was wondering if anyone picked this up. You would swear the official is part of the coaching staff.”

A large section of fans, however, had a different opinion on the matter. One fan commented: “They’re talking about the advantage, why are you trying to make up something out of nothing.”

A second said: “Gotta be honest here. The ref played a brilliant advantage and that’s probably what he’s smiling about,” while another commented: “In fairness he’s probably bigging up Tierney playing the advantage rather than celebrating the goal.”

Arsenal equalised through Bukayo Saka on the hour mark but despite dominating possession for large periods, a Marcus Rashford brace sealed all three points for United, who climbed up to fifth after picking up their fourth consecutive win.
