Arsenal news: Kimmich breaks silence on potential transfer as Stan Kroenke spotted with Arteta

Kimmich blow
Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich has been linked with a summer transfer to Arsenal in recent times.
Recent reports had suggested that the German international is no longer seen as untouchable at Bayern, although Kimmich himself has now come out and claimed that he will still be plying his trade at the Allianz Arena next season. “I’m very certain that I will stay here at Bayern,” the versatile midfielder said during a press conference on Tuesday.
“I will play the coming season at FC Bayern. I have no other plans.”
City title claim
Manchester City ambassador Shaun Wright-Phillips has claimed that the reigning Premier League champions aren’t worried about the prospect of a title challenge from Arsenal next season.
“We’re not worried about Arsenal next season,” Wright-Phillips told The Mirror. “There are so many other teams who have got stronger since last season. I think there will be more opportunities for other teams to try to claw back at Man City and Arsenal.
“City have dominated the Premier League for more than 10 years and the challenge is to keep on doing it because other teams have got stronger. You never know with Pep Guardiola… After playing with four centre-backs last season, he’s probably now got something else up his sleeve.”
Kroenke spotted with Arteta
Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke has been spotted alongside manager Mikel Arteta, watching the Spaniard’s squad train in Los Angeles during their pre-season tour of America.
The pair were pictured together hugging and having a chat, with some fans hoping they are discussing additional signings for the north Londoners.
