Arsenal news: Champions League scouting mission starts as Arsene Wenger breaks silence on return

The latest Arsenal news including updates on Champions League scouting, Arsene Wenger’s return and PSV Eindhoven rescheduling.
Champions League scouting mission
Arsenal scouts were sent on a mission to watch over the game between Porto and Club Brugge on Tuesday night, reports Portuguese newspaper O Jogo, via Sports Witness. The home side fell to defeat against their Belgian opponents in a 4-0 thrashing, with plenty of talent on display.
The report doesn’t mention who the Gunners could have been watching over, but it could result in a move that is a repeat of Fabio Vieira’s switch from Porto.
Arsene Wenger return
Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has broken his silence surrounding a potential return to the club in the future. It comes after a number of high-profile voices have suggested that he should have a role in some capacity, including current manager and former player Mikel Arteta.
PSV match rearranged
UEFA have confirmed that the Europa League clash between Arsenal and PSV in the Europa League at the Emirates Stadium has been rescheduled. It comes after the original had been postponed due to policing concerns in London in preparation for the funeral of Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
