Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe ‘feeling good’ in preseason

Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe says he is fully fit this preseason.

Smith Rowe struggled with injury throughout the previous campaign.

“I’m feeling good,” he told Sky Sports after Arsenal’s 2-0 preseason friendly defeat to Manchester United in New Jersey.

“It’s good to be back with the players and back on the pitch with my teammates. My ambition is to get some minutes this season and really push on.

“Last year was really hard for me so I want to prove that I can play for this club.

“My family and friends helped me to get through that, and now I’m really happy to be playing through it and get fit.”
