Juventus star Weston McKennie, who was linked with Arsenal have now reached an agreement to join EPL side Leeds United on loan.

The Gunners were linked with the player but were obviously not favourites in the deal.

McKennie will make the move Elland Road on loan for the rest of the season with the West Yorkshire club having an option to make the move permanent at the end of the campaign.

This has been confirmed by Juventus manager Max Allegri who also revealed that McKennie will not be involved in the Serie A clash with Monza on Sunday.

‘McKennie will not be available tomorrow because he is at the centre of a negotiation,’ said Allegri.

‘I think the club has already found an agreement with his new team and therefore he won’t be there tomorrow.

‘There will be no reinforcements on the market, if McKennie was to leave there will be Cuadrado, De Sciglio, Soulé, who can also play from outside. If necessary, we will be able to change the structure. The important thing is to recover everyone.’

Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta has already made it known that Arsenal will attempt to bring in more players to the club if they find the right quality before the end of the January transfer window.
