Arsenal interested in signing No.11 creative La Liga forward

Arsenal will look to explore the possibility of signing Barcelona winger Ferran Torres in winter. Spain international joined Barcelona from Man City in 2021. Torres struggled to become a regular in the PL, and after the Blaugrana’s recent signings, he’s found himself in and out of Xavi’s team in recent weeks.

Raphinha was brought in from Leeds United, and Dembele has proved his fitness so far this campaign, meaning Ferran has played a bit-part role at times. The Gunners will look to add the 22-year-old winger in the winter transfer window, with Xavi not seeing the attacker in his long-term plans.

Although the Spanish winger didn’t enjoy the most successful period in the PL when at Man City, the competition for places made it difficult for him to have a fair crack of the whip.

The Gunners have a lack of depth out wide and with European football meaning their fixture list will be heavily congested, the Spaniard should be given a fair amount of playing time if he was to come back to the PL and sign for the London giants.

The former Man City winger has failed to establish himself as a regular starter, and with plenty of forward depth after the expensive signings of Lewandowski and Raphinha, along with Dembele and Fati already being on the books, the Catalan giants are said to be looking to recoup their spending.

The Blaugrana will be setting their asking price at the full amount they paid Man City, but for a young footballer who already has 13 international goals in 28 caps for Spain, it is not an unreasonable figure.
