ALMOST DONE: Contract Ready To Be Signed, Player Confirmed

Bukayo Saka has stated that he is certain to extend his contract with Arsenal. In the summer of 2020, the 20-year-old most recently agreed to a four-year agreement, and since then, he has developed into one of the Gunners’ most significant and crucial players.

With only two years left on his contract, Arsenal is eager to lock him into a new one. In a recent interview, Mikel Arteta said he was optimistic about the prospects of negotiating new terms. The club, Bukayo, his family, his agent, and everyone else are very much in agreement with what we want to do, the Spaniard stated. And the next step is to write it down on a piece of paper.
Now with speculation rife after links to Manchester City and Liverpool this summer, Saka himself has moved to provide more clarity on his future.
“Yes, I share his confidence,” The England international told reporters after the Gunners’ 2-1 win over Fulham on Saturday. Saka, however, would not be drawn into placing a timescale on when that was likely to be.

“I share that confidence, that is it!” he said.
The strong bond Saka has with Arteta is the key to understanding his mood. Throughout Saka’s early Arsenal career, the Spaniard has been effusive in his praise and has repeatedly pushed him to the next level.
“A lot. He seems to be there for me always “said Saka. “He is aware of when to address me. The many pieces of advise he provides me are exceptional, and it makes such a difference. It’s not too much, but it’s also not too little.”
Saka has had a sluggish start to the season by his own extremely high standards, but the 20-year-old is optimistic that he can improve after providing the assist for Martin Odegaard’s equalizer against Fulham on Saturday.
“I think I’m growing, going from strength to strength each game,” he said. “I think Fulham was my best game yet, and I want to kick on from that now.”
