With only two years left on his contract, Arsenal is eager to lock him into a new one. In a recent interview, Mikel Arteta said he was optimistic about the prospects of negotiating new terms. The club, Bukayo, his family, his agent, and everyone else are very much in agreement with what we want to do, the Spaniard stated. And the next step is to write it down on a piece of paper.

“A lot. He seems to be there for me always “said Saka. “He is aware of when to address me. The many pieces of advise he provides me are exceptional, and it makes such a difference. It’s not too much, but it’s also not too little.”

Saka has had a sluggish start to the season by his own extremely high standards, but the 20-year-old is optimistic that he can improve after providing the assist for Martin Odegaard’s equalizer against Fulham on Saturday.

“I think I’m growing, going from strength to strength each game,” he said. “I think Fulham was my best game yet, and I want to kick on from that now.”
