ALMOST DONE: Arsenal on the verge to agree big-money deal for World-Class No.7 attacker

Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka has reportedly reached an agreement in principle over a new five-year contract with the Gunners that will see him earning around £200,000 per week.
The 21-year-old forward has once again having a fine season for Arsenal and he has been a key to Mikel Arteta’s side, producing one goal and four assists in eight Premier League games.
Upon becoming a first-team regular in 2020, Saka signed a new long-term contract at the Emirates Stadium until the summer of 2024, however, he is yet to extend those terms.
Given the Gunners recent failures to qualify for the Champions League, Liverpool and Man City are both believed to have been monitoring Saka’s situation in North London.
However, there has been optimism surrounding a new deal for Bukayo Saka for a while now, and according to Football Insider, it is now just a matter of time before an extension is announced.
The report suggests that Saka and the Gunners have come to an agreement in principle over a £200k-per-week deal, which will bring the 21-year-old in line with the club’s highest earners Jesus and Partey.
The England international is supposedly set to put pen to paper on a new long-term deal until the end of the 2026-27 campaign, and he has been convinced to extend his stay given the North London giants’ upturn in fortunes under Mikel Arteta.
Since breaking into the first team for the Gunners, Saka has managed to found back of the net 24 times and provided 33 assists in 140 appearances for the North London club in all tournaments, winning the FA Cup and Community Shield in the process.
